Thanks for the feedback. I believe the Average Model search feature may solve your problem. In the Start Your Search text box type "Average" and click enter/return on your keyboard. You will be given a list of all the AVERAGE models available. You can use the filters on the left to drill down to your specific equipment type, i.e. Average Excavator Crawler Mounted Compact Excavator 4.1 - 5.0 is a  "Compare Similar Models" link. Select this and you will have the option to select up to 5 models in the category to compare with the "Average Model".

Please give this a try and let us know if this solves your problem.

Thanks again for your feedback and for being an EquipmentWatch customer.

Sometimes EQW does not have the exact model of equipment, and we need to be able to compare equipment specs to other similar comparable models utilizing the equipment specs.  The hard copy of EQW currently permits this utilizing the specs in each column, however this is not available in the online version.

I agree with Mike Grasso, we work for an agency of the State of New York and in cases where an exact piece of equipment does not exist in Equipment Watch's Cost Recovery guide, we can't readilly identify a similar piece of equipment based on its specifications in the hardcopy publication.  This currently cannot be done with the electronic version.
